About Our Oak Wardrobes

A wardrobe takes daily punishment. Doors open and close thousands of times, hinges bear the weight, shelves hold stacked clothes year after year. Solid oak handles all of it. Our wardrobes are built with proper joinery and quality hinges that won’t sag or fail after a few years of use.

Wardrobe Sizes

Single wardrobes suit smaller bedrooms, guest rooms, or as extra storage alongside a larger unit. Typically 90-100cm wide with one door.

Double wardrobes are the standard choice for main bedrooms. Around 110-130cm wide with two doors, offering a good balance of hanging space and shelving.

Triple wardrobes provide maximum storage. Usually 150-180cm wide with three doors, often combining long hanging, short hanging, and shelves or drawers.

Measure your space carefully. Allow clearance for doors to open fully, and check ceiling height if you’re considering taller units.

Interior Options

Full hanging suits dresses, coats, and longer items. One rail runs the full height of the wardrobe.

Half hanging with shelves gives you rail space for shirts and jackets above, with shelves below for folded items.

Drawers built in replace the need for a separate chest of drawers. Useful if bedroom space is tight.

Finishes

Natural oak shows the grain and develops character over time. Works with most colour schemes.

Dark oak offers a richer, more traditional look. Suits period properties or rooms with darker tones.

Painted oak in off-white, grey, or cream gives you colour options while keeping solid wood construction.
