About Our Super King Size Oak Beds

A super king bed measures 6ft (180cm) wide, giving you and your partner serious room to spread out. If you’ve ever felt cramped on a standard double or even a king, this is the upgrade that makes the difference.

Our super king oak beds are built from solid hardwood with proper joinery. No chipboard, no wobbly slats, no creaking at 3am. Just sturdy frames designed to handle the extra size and last for decades.

Is a Super King Right for You?

Super king beds suit couples who value their own space, taller sleepers, or anyone who shares the bed with kids or pets. The extra width means you’re not fighting for duvet or waking each other up every time someone moves.

Before ordering, check your room. A super king needs a bedroom at least 4m x 4m for comfortable movement. Allow 60-70cm clearance on each side for getting in and out, plus space at the foot if you have a high foot-end frame.

Also measure your doorways and staircase. Most of our beds arrive flat-packed for easy assembly, but it’s worth checking access before you order.

Super King Bed Styles

Storage beds are popular at this size. The larger footprint means more drawer space underneath, useful for bedding, spare pillows, or clothes you don’t need every day.

Low foot-end beds keep sightlines open in the room. If your bedroom isn’t huge, a lower frame can make the space feel less dominated by the bed.

High foot-end beds create a grand, traditional look. These work best in larger rooms where you want the bed to be a statement piece.
