House Of Oak will not be held responsible for any pricing error or the incorrect images displayed on the products on our website which have been made in error.
The customer is entitled to a full refund if this is the case and the order cancelled or if the goods have been delivered, then collected at no cost to the customer and a full refund given or the price difference becomes payable at point of sale.
Making A Purchase
By placing an order with House of Oak you are accepting the standard terms and conditions of business as laid out in this document.
All goods remain the property of House of Oak until the balance of all goods have been received in full. Furniture will not be left until paid in full. Method of payment on Delivery, credit card, debit cards, cash and bankers draft, NO Personal Cheques.
House of Oak is not liable for any orders that take longer to delivery than suppliers estimated delivery. Customers accepting deliveries do so at their own risk. Any deliveries made where the recipients are not at the delivery address during the time arranged will be charged a false call out charge to be agreed with House of Oak in advance of any redelivery arrangements being made.
Any shortages, damages or incorrect orders must be reported to House of Oak within 24 hours.
House of Oak complies with the Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which states that consumers have the right to a cooling off period of 7 working days after the goods have been received.
However, House of Oak will only give a refund if the consumer complies with the following:-
- The customer confirms their right to cancel to House of Oak in writing within 7 days of the receipt of the goods.
- The customer must take reasonable care of any goods that have been supplied until they are returned to House of Oak.
- The consumer must make the goods available for collection by House of Oak within 14 working days.
- Our staff cannot remove their safety footwear. This complies with our Health & Safety Policy.
Where the customer has changed their mind on any furniture and accessories purchased and delivered the customer will be charged the cost in full of delivering the goods back to House of Oak.
All goods are guaranteed for 12 months unless bought as seconds where there is no guarantee. House of Oaks retains the right to inspect any goods prior to any claim on the aforementioned guarantees before any items are refunded, exchanged or repaired. All customers must comply with any assembly or care instructions provided by the supplier.
House of Oak retains the right to alter the specifications of furniture in accordance with our suppliers? commitment to quality and continuous improvement without prior notice.
House of Oak operate within UK law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
